Truth Day 17

Day 17 → A book you’ve read that changed your views on something.

I have read a lot of books which have informed me and changed my views on various issues, so it's hard to single out just one.

I will say In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan.  It changed the way I think about what I eat, though I must admit, it hasn't had a lasting impact on my behavior.

  1. Me too - well, actually, Omnivore's Dilemma was my gateway book, but In Defense of Food goes right along with it.

BTW, I'm de-lurking myself. I had some trouble conceiving our second baby, and started to read some infertility blogs. I've since stopped reading most of them, but I kept the ones for whom I felt a connection. One of my very good friends just had her second failed IVF attempt and is considering donor eggs right now.

I love comments! Just one caution: if you want to leave a negative comment on this blog, I would ask that you question the motive for doing so; I will not publish it. Thanks.
