When Pills Aren't Enough

Hope you enjoy this anonymous guest post, courtesy of the "When Pills Aren't Enough" Sessions. ~S

We have lived in the same house with the same furniture for 15 years. In those 15 years, I have not changed which drawers I keep my undies and bras in. And yet, 15 years later, when you take laundry out of the dryer, my stuff never gets put away. Yours does, kid stuff does, but my undies and bras are left sitting on top of the dresser. This... enrages me.That is all.

  1. Dude. It is so annoying when spouses just don't even pay attention to their own lack of responsibility-sharing!

  2. LOL. I've just given up with the laundry battle. Mine puts it all away, but not always where it should go. Some days it's like Christmas when I find a pair of shorts I haven't seen in months. (-;

  3. Mine will occasionally put mine away...but sometimes, he will leave like 5 loads on the sofa for DAYS waiting me out to get me to fold and put away...

    Ah...can't we all just have maids that will do all things not fun for us???

  4. Mine does the laundry, folds it, and leaves it on the dresser (just fine with me), but he consistently leaves the last load in the dryer, then insists on walking around claiming he did ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the laundry (like he's so hard done by). And for the record, he *chooses* to do the laundry -- I don't make him, I swear! lol

  5. I don't want to say the grass is always greener, but I don't think my husband knows where the dryer is in our house. Seriously.

    But he is honest about not doing it - he doesn't make a passive-agressive move like this would would cause all of his clean clothes to be "put away" on our front lawn.

    Then again, we are the more intelligent sex.

  6. LOL. It's the little things...that cause the most rage.

  7. Our hubby sounds like they came from the same mould - not one piece of MY clothing got put away until I put everyone's clothes away except his and he finally, after many piles of his clothing stacked all around the room, ensuite and wardrobe, he got it. It was a huge lightbulb moment for him and he now happily puts mine away too. Good luck

  8. That would drive me insane. Although... I kind of suck at putting laundry away myself, so I can't really complain too much, I guess.
